The offseason is in full swing for big lake trollers.  Some anglers can get out with smaller, outboard boats, but the freezing nights dictate most inboard boats are layed up for winter.  Pier action can be good at times for whitefish and steelhead this time of year if you have to have a fix.  Others, like myself are focusing on hunting deer.  After the first of the new year, I will be focusing on squirrel for a month or so and going through tackle and getting it ready for '07.  I am also working on upgrading my downriggers.  Currently the boat is without riggers.  I am going over some options and will be ready to go long before April 1.  I will have more tackle for sale throughout the winter, so check back here.  I will also be continuing informational posts as well.  If there is something you would like a discussion on, contact me through the site and ask!
