Fishing was slow this past Friday. We boated 4 of 6 fish that were hooked up, but 3 of the 4 were small kings that we released. We did manage a nice 15# king and lost a decent lake trout and really nice steelhead. The lake trout was so bloated with air that it floated on the surface for a while. We promptly made a hard circle to go get hime but as we were approaching the last hundred yards or so, he regained his position and swam away. The steelhead was well over 10# and hit a short diver and expertly released himself about 30' from the boat. The weather was great and the water was flat. We ran WNW from port and fished from 135fow to 210 fow and back into 120fow with large times with no bites. We did take the first 4 fish, the kings, in the mid 180's but after turning on them to try again, they were gone. The 120's held the other action with the lake trot and the steelhead.
