A bit tougher today to find some willing fish, but the power hour came through for us.   We hunted for the fish and finally found them in the 200-300 range.  Dark blue spoons and flies got their attention.  Northport Nailers in Salmonhead, Harvinator, Bruiser (31), and blue dragonfly (23) all took fish in the 60-80 down range.  SeaMist Horsefly took two rips at about 75 down and 120 on the rigger.  Good sized fish tonight with 3 kings 11-14#, a 6# king and a 5# steelhead.  We had 5 more long distance releases including a 15-16# king that thought it was a steelhead and jumped about 3' out of the water.  A faster than normal troll continues with down speeds about 2.4-2.6 and SOG anywhere from 3.2-4.0 mph.  Direction didn't seem to matter in the end, but the fish were harder to convince today.  The sunset bite was a bit nuts with 3-4 fish on in a few minutes.  We had the last two bites well after dark while pulling lines.  The offshore breeze should make fishing close to the piers very interesting in the upcoming days.
