October Fishing

October is upon us and fishing is still very good.  The pierhead, mature king spawing session is winding down, although some can still be had.  The offshore younger fish and steelhead is still darn good and should remain so until ice up.  Weather can be dicey with lots of wind in October, but when the weather smiles, it can be fantastic out there.  Boat stays in water until October 24.  Make your plans today.  With deer and duck seasons on us, the water is wide open.
