Made it out Tuesday afternoon for a couple hours with one friend and went 6/10 right in front.  Fished in and out of the mudlines.  Two nice kings at about 7 and 12# and several lakers went back in the drink.  Missed a couple more good fish.  Northport Nailer spoons in Glow Tiger Roughy (65) and Superior Sunset (35) took every bite.

Made it out again Wednesday morning with one friend and went 9 for 12 in about 5 hours.  Didn't light the world on fire, but steady action in and out of the mud again.  Water temp dropped 4-5 degrees overnight with the east winds, but the lakers were still there.  First fish was a nice 6-7# king and every other was a laker.  Good lakers up to about 9#.  They all went back for another day since season opens May 1.  Once again Glow tiger Roughy (65) was good and Lemon Fire Glow (76) was HOT!  We had three fly bites.  One each on Fireworks, Midnight and SeaMist.  Everry other bite was on the two spoons.

Lake Trout season opens Friday May 1.  Get out there while the action is HOT.
