Last minute trip to South Haven today with two buddies on a tip from a friend that they were biting.  Well, we didnt hammer them like in May, but we did finish well.  We had 9 fish during the short morning run and landed 8.  5 nice steelhead from 6-9# and 3 decent kings from 3-9#.  The one we lost was a nice steelie as well. 

Northport Nailers ruled the roost today with lemon drop glow 89 taking 2 on the 6 color lead, lemon fire glow 76 taking two on the deep diver ticking bottom, prototype orange glow butt took two on the 4 color, blueberry glow 19 took 1 ticking bottom on the rigger, sunfire 69 took one on a high diver, and we finished the day on a trashcan Opti dodger with an atomic green glow Horse Fly ticking bottom to scrape up a nice steelie.  The kings were all on the bottom and one steelie down there and the rest were 6 colors and higher.  Low diver was 130 back on 1.5 mag diver in 77-79 fow, rigger out 83' in 77 fow for the kings, and the high diver was out 40 and rigger ticking bottom for the steelies.  bright sunny clear beautiful day out there.  We fished for 5 hours.  Great trip!
