Headed out bright and early from Muskegon today. Reports indicated fish were deep, so I plotted a course to 250 feet of water and went straight there. Second rod in the water fired right off the bat putting a nice little steelie in the boat. before we fished with the 12 rod spread, we had a king in the boat too. As the orange sunrise was covered up by clouds, storms grew closer. We kept a vigilant eye on them and tracked them closely on the radar. We found fish scattered from 260-330 feet of water. Northport Nailers in Sour apple (29) and sunfire (69) booth took several rips. Mashed Banana glow (12) took a couple hits as well. 8 colors of lead down to 15 colors of lead worked as well as divers up high from 55-90 back. Riggers had bites from 55-75 down. Another great day, although we had to dodge a couple small storm cells. We finished with 8 fish ranging in size from 2-12# and had Lake Trout, King Salmon and Steelhead. A great cooler with lots of good meals to come for today's anglers.
