After a week off the water to catch up on other work, I hopped aboard Bad Habits in Pentwater
with a couple friends for an afternoon fish. Conditions had changed considerably since Saturday and the fish didnt cooperate all that well. We did manage 4 bites in as many hours and got all 4 to the boat. We had one coho at 8#, two steelies up to 12# and a king about 10#. We fished water from 40 to 110 and back to 50. The big steelie and the king came on a yellow and green plug on the half core, the coho took a big white flasher with an Artic ice horsefly and the other steelie took a purple and black Nailer off the rigger. |
