After having Tuesday off for real work, we got back at it Wednesday evening for another go of it. We were searching for fish in new water to make sure we had our bases covered for the upcoming event. Due to nasty water conditions earlier in the day, we didnt get on the water until 5pm. We fished until about 9 and finished up 6 for 8. The bite was a good mix of spoons and flies. Green holo glow spinnie with mirage fly took one on the high diver back 100. Green holo clear blade spinnie with puprple mirage took two on the 13 color. Mashed bannana (11) took one and Blue Green dolpin (61) took 2 as sliders set at 43 and 90 down. Green minnow prototype took one on the middle diver set back 150 and we missed a rip on the fill core with mashed bannana glow (12). A pleasant suprise trip with the high winds.
