Loaded my crew of 3 on board today and on some information, set lines in 40 fow outside the harbor and trolled around the muddy water for over an hour. There were fish in there, but we couldnt get them to bite. We worked our way out to the nets to the south and finally caught an undersized laker in 135 fow. After his release, we caught a small king in the 140's and caught a nice laker in the 170's. After more info, we pulled lines and ran into shallower water again and set back up to troll for a couple more hours. We pulled a nice coho in there and that was it. We finished 4 for 4 with 3 in the box. Rumors have it that there are good fish in shallow when you can find them. Seems as though the fish are in tight pods and will bite when you time it right, but miss the active hour and you will have a long slow day.
