For a response to a question I received via email, I am posting here because the listed email address for a return comes back undeliverable for me.

If there is minimal chance for delays due to connections and things of that sort, I would package fish in a vacuum seal bag and freeze solid and then pack in a small cooler and take as a carry on.  Another option is to place the fish in a freezer bag, cover with water and freeze as a block.  Package in a cooler and head home also.  If a freezer is not available prior to departure, pack the base of a cooler with dry ice, a layer of newspaper and then the fillets in bags on top of that.  seal the cooler and head home.  You may need to check with the airlines on regulations with dry ice.
