Cold snap freezes efforts in their tracks |

This week's cold weather is hampering efforts to
finish rigging the boat. All the parts are on hand, but freezing weather and snow has stopped all of my forward progress. I need one more nice day to get things in order. Good news is all the mechanical is taken care of, and we are just down to rigging a few more of the new tracks and wiring the new down riggers. After that is complete, its load the boat time and head for water. Hard to believe just a week or so ago it was over 70 degrees. Happy Easter to everyone out there this upcoming weekend. If you make it out on the water, be careful. Cold water is dangerous! Pier fisherman should be extra cautious this week with newly forming icy spots on the piers and freezing spray. One slip and it's game over. |
